Hypnotherapy

What is Hypnotherapy?

It’s not about losing control — it’s about gently reclaiming it. Have you ever felt so exhausted, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck that you couldn’t even put your feelings into words?

You try to stay strong, but your mind and heart seem disconnected. You tell yourself, “Don’t overthink,” yet your body keeps sending you warning signals.

Hypnotherapy isn’t about “falling asleep” or being “controlled.”

It’s a gentle way of returning to yourself. In a safe, calm, and supportive space, you’ll enter a deeply relaxed but conscious state — you’re fully aware of what’s happening, but softer, lighter, and more open to your inner truth.

Ghynna brings over 3,500 hours of one-on-one consultations, blending lived empathy with powerful techniques. She creates a therapeutic space that is safe, empowering, and deeply respectful of your pace and story.

Her work spans emotional management, trauma healing, and mental wellness education—helping others release inner blocks, find clarity, and achieve growth.

Ghynna's story

With nearly 15 years in the international tourism industry, Ghynna’s career began not in a therapy room but amidst the dynamic energy of travelers from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. It was here, guiding people through new experiences, that she discovered something profound: the best in service didn’t just handle logistics—they handled emotions. They calmed anxieties, uplifted spirits, and built deep trust with human connection.

This discovery sparked Ghynna’s lifelong fascination with the connection between emotions and actions. She realized that emotional stability
wasn’t about being emotionless—it was about expressing feelings in healthy ways, which in turn allowed for clearer thinking, stronger relationships, and greater resilience. Her ability to remain grounded, especially in times of crisis, earned her not just respect but gratitude,
from kind words to generous tips, and eventually, stories and emotions clients felt safe enough to share.

As a teenager and young adult, she quietly battled anxiety and depression. Traditional therapies helped to a point, but it was hypnotherapy that gave her the deepest, most lasting healing—a way back to herself that was both rapid and deeply safe. As someone who’s been the client, she understands what it feels like to sit in the chair, hoping to be heard, held, and healed. That’s why she believes therapy should never feel like being thrown into the ocean without knowing how to swim—it should feel like someone gently handing you a life jacket, teaching you how to float, then walk again
with strength.

"But Ghynna’s calling goes beyond professional training.
Her approach is shaped by personal truth."

When the world came to a pause during the pandemic, people continued to reach out to Ghynna—not for travel plans, but for emotional support. Many shared how simply speaking with her brought them peace. These heartfelt moments became a turning point. Determined to help on a deeper level, she pursued certifications as an International Coach, Aromatherapist, Hypnotherapist, and completed a Diploma in Info
Trauma Hypnotherapy.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose control or do something embarrassing?

Not at all. This isn’t stage hypnosis—it’s a therapeutic space rooted in safety and respect. You won’t bark like a dog or share anything you’re not ready for. You’ll be aware of everything, just more at ease—like a deep meditation where you’re still fully you.

What’s different about trauma-informed hypnotherapy?

Trauma-informed means you set the pace. Nothing is forced. You won’t be pushed into reliving painful memories. Every session is built on consent, emotional safety, and gentle reprocessing—so you can heal without being re-traumatized.

How many sessions will I need?

Everyone’s journey is unique. Many clients notice shifts within 3–6 sessions. Because hypnotherapy works directly with the subconscious, it often brings results more quickly than traditional talk therapy. We’ll create a plan that’s right for you, not a one-size-fits-all timeline.

Can hypnotherapy help with anxiety, depression,
or trauma?

Yes, and that’s why we do this work. Hypnotherapy helps calm the nervous system, release emotional weight, and gently rewire patterns shaped by pain. You don’t need to “push through” alone, there’s a softer way to heal.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations, so that space can be offered to others in need. Life happens, and emergencies are always understood. Healing is never linear—compassion comes first.

What does a session look like?

We begin with a relaxed, heartfelt chat to understand your needs. Then, you’ll simply close your eyes and follow my gentle voice. No pressure, no performing—just a safe space to reconnect with yourself. You’ll leave feeling lighter, with insights and tools you can carry into daily life.

I’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help. Why would this be different?

That’s a common story—and I see you. Hypnotherapy goes beneath the surface, where your habits, fears, and emotional triggers live. It isn’t about talking in circles. It’s about gently unlocking what’s been stuck, without drowning in it. If you’ve been looking for something that finally feels right, this may be it.

Is hypnotherapy backed by science?

Yes. Hypnotherapy is supported by research and recognized by organizations like the British Medical Association and the American Psychological Association. It has shown effectiveness for anxiety, PTSD, pain management, and more. You’re not “imagining” your healing—it’s real, and it’s valid.

Am I even hypnotizable?

Most people are! If you’ve ever gotten lost in a book or forgotten time while watching a movie—you’ve already experienced a form of trance. Hypnotherapy works with your natural rhythm. No swinging watches—just deep focus and kind guidance.

Do I have to talk about my trauma in detail?

No, you don’t. This isn’t about retelling your pain. In fact, hypnotherapy often allows healing to happen without verbalizing every detail. Your subconscious already holds the story—we just help it release the weight.

What should I prepare for my first hypnotherapy session?

Just yourself—and a heart that’s open to trying. Before your session, I’ll send you simple guidance to help you feel ready. All you need is a quiet, undisturbed space, comfortable clothing, and a willingness to relax. Hypnotherapy isn’t a test. There’s no right or wrong—just an honest meeting with yourself.

Can I do hypnotherapy online? Will it still work?

Absolutely, and many clients actually feel more comfortable online. As long as you have a stable internet connection and a quiet, private space, the experience is just as powerful. We’ll go over your setup beforehand to make sure you feel safe and supported. Your comfort is the most important part.

What if I cry or feel overwhelmed during the session?

That’s completely okay—and often part of the healing. Emotions aren’t something to be silenced; they’re meant to be felt and released. In this space, tears, silence, or even not knowing what to say are all welcome. I’ll be right there with you, breathing through it, gently guiding you—you won’t carry anything alone.

Is hypnotherapy suitable for everyone?

Most people benefit from hypnotherapy—especially those ready to reconnect with themselves and shift from old patterns. However, if you’re currently taking psychiatric medication or have been diagnosed with a specific mental health condition, please let me know in advance. We’ll explore together if hypnotherapy is the right fit, and if needed, I’ll suggest complementary professional support.

What kind of changes can I expect after a session?

Change is often gentle—but very real. You may notice you’re less emotionally triggered, making choices that felt hard before, or simply being kinder to yourself. It’s not about “suddenly becoming better,” but about gradually becoming more at ease, more clear, and more aligned with who you truly are.

Can I book a one-time session, or do I need a full package?

You’re welcome to start with one session. I believe in honoring your own pace. Try it once—see how it feels—then decide what comes next. Healing isn’t measured in numbers. It’s about readiness, and I’ll only offer what fits you. No pressure, ever.

Can I book a session for a friend or loved one?

Yes, but healing has to be chosen by them. You’re welcome to help book, but I’ll always confirm directly with the person receiving the session. Hypnotherapy isn’t something we do for someone else—it’s a journey they need to willingly take for themselves.
